At Least 1 Suffers Major Injuries in Highway 101 Car Accident in San Jose
San Jose, California (July 6, 2022) – At least one person was seriously hurt in a crash that happened Wednesday morning in San Jose, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Officers received reports of the crash just before 8 a.m. on northbound Highway 101 at the Old Bayshore Highway.
A green 4-door Acura collided with a yellow Toyota sedan for unknown reasons. Both cars overturned onto their sides on the right-hand shoulder.
San Jose police and firefighters responded to the scene.
The report said the accident resulted in major injuries. It was not clear how many people were injured, but the driver of the Acura was one of the victims.
The cause of the crash was not immediately determined.
CHP is investigating the accident.
