4 Injured in Oakland Car Crash on Interstate 80 at SFOBB Toll Plaza
Oakland, California (August 10, 2022) – Four people were injured in a collision that happened Wednesday morning in Oakland, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident occurred at about 5:33 a.m. on westbound Interstate 80 near the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge Toll Plaza.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash.
CHP said the accident resulted in major injuries. Emergency personnel offered medical aid to three people in one car and one person in another car. It was not clear how many patients were hospitalized.
Traffic was backed up in the area due to some traffic lanes being blocked.
