Franklin County, Wash. – Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle collision that sent five people to hospital with severe injuries Tuesday afternoon near Basin City.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Deputies, the wreck happened at around 3:45 p.m. on January 23 at the intersection of Russel and Glade North Roads.
Reportedly, a vehicle failed to stop at the intersection was hit by a pickup truck operated by 49-year-old Basin City man.
The truck then overturn and came to rest against a power pole.
The passengers at the back of the car were ejected.
All five parties involved in the wreck were transported to the hospital with serious injuries for treatment.
No additional information about the collision was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
