Several Injured in Hollywood Car Accident at Franklin and Bronson Avenues
Hollywood, California (August 28, 2022) – Several people were injured when a police pursuit ended in a multi-vehicle collision at an intersection in Hollywood on Saturday night, according to a report by the Los Angeles Police Department.
The wreck happened at Franklin and Bronson avenues at about 10:30 p.m. on August 27.
The chase began shortly before the collision when a suspect in a stolen car fled police and collided with several other vehicles at the intersection.
The impact caused the stolen vehicle to roll onto its roof. The suspect got out and reportedly tried to flee on foot but was taken into custody a short distance from the scene.
Several parties were treated at the scene by medics. There were no serious injuries in the incident.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
