Peoria, AZ – Several people were injured in a traffic collision in Peoria on Sunday night, according to the authorities.
The incident took place on State Route 74 and Castle Hot Springs Road on Sunday, May 26.
Authorities said a minivan was traveling eastbound on SR 74 when it attempted to make a U-turn and was hit by a westbound pickup truck pulling a large trailer.
The minivan was reportedly carrying children at the time of the accident.
Several people were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
