CHP said a blue Ford collided head-on with both a gray Subaru and a white Toyota.

Ventura, CA. – At least five people were injured, two seriously, in a head-on collision that happened Tuesday night in Ventura, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident occurred around 8:23 p.m. on Highway 1.

An 18-year-old woman sustained a fractured back, and a 19-year-old woman suffered a fractured sternum. Both victims occupied the Toyota.
Three other people suffered minor injuries in the accident.
Investigators do not believe impairment was a contributing factor.
