Ridgecrest, CA. – Several people were injured following a suspected DUI multi-vehicle accident last week Thursday in Ridgecrest, according to the Ridgecrest Police Department.
The accident happened a while before 6:00 p.m. on July 18, at North China Lake Boulevard and West Reeves Avenue.
Police said multiple vehicles crashed at the intersection. The driver at fault attempted to flee the scene but was caught by officials.
Several people sustained unspecified injuries and were hospitalized following the collision.
The RPD officials believed alcohol contributed to the collision.
The Liberty Ambulance, Kern County Fire, and Kern Sheriff's deputies responded to the crash.
