Several Hurt in San Marcos Car Crash on State Route 78 and Woodland Parkway
San Marcos, California (December 26, 2021) – Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in San Marcos on Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred on State Route 78 and Woodland Parkway at about 10:54 a.m. December 25.
The CHP reported that a Jeep and a Toyota sedan, among several other vehicles, collided in the area.

Four people sustained minor injuries and were transported to Palomar Medical Center Escondido.
The identities of the injured parties were not immediately released.
The crash caused a closure of the eastbound lanes of SR 78 as authorities investigated the incident.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
