1 Person Suffers Minor Injuries in Sunday Afternoon Shandon Car Crash on Westbound Highway 46 at Annette Road
Shandon, California (April 10, 2022) – One person was sent to the hospital after a traffic collision that occurred Sunday afternoon in Shandon, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck occurred at around 5:14 p.m. on westbound Highway 46 at Annette Road.
According to CHP, a red Toyota Camry collided with a semi-truck under unclear circumstances.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported one person to the hospital with minor injuries.
Alcohol is being investigated as a possible factor contributing to the accident. A party reporting the accident said the driver of the Camry was seen throwing Modelo bottles from the vehicle.
The Camry was towed away with major front-end damage.
CHP is investigating the accident.
