Shane Lowe ID'd as Man Killed in Orange Crash at Tustin Street and Taft Avenue

Orange, California (May 22, 2022) – Shane Lowe, 59, of Newport Beach, has been identified as the man who was killed in a Friday night traffic accident that left one other person critically injured in Orange, according to the coroner's office.
The crash occurred at about 10:29 p.m., on May 20, at Tustin Street and Taft Avenue.
According to the police, a Porsche, driven by Lowe, entered the intersection to turn southbound on Tustin Street when a northbound Kia Sol ran a red light, and the two vehicles collided.

Sadly, Lowe was pronounced dead at the scene.
The male driver of the Kia sustained major injuries in the accident and was hospitalized for treatment.
Drugs were suspected of having played a role in the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
