Victorville Man Shane Lussier Killed in Hit-and-Run Collision at Palmdale Road and Pearmain Street
Adelanto, California (April 29, 2022) – A 29-year-old Victorville motorcyclist died Wednesday night following a hit-and-run crash at an Adelanto intersection, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
Shanzxe Lussier was pronounced dead at about 8:55 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at Victor Valley Global Medical Center.
According to the report, San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Deputies responded to reports of a traffic collision at Palmdale Road and Pearmain Street at about 8:11 p.m. Wednesday.
Lussier was riding a 2021 Harley Street Bob motorcycle westbound on Palmdale Road, east of Pearmain Street. At the same time, Leejon Tolliver, 34, of Adelanto, was driving a silver 2014 Dodge Durango when he turned onto Palmdale Road and collided with Lussier's motorcycle.
Tolliver, who fled the scene after the collision, has since been arrested. He is held at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto with bail set at $100,000.
The incident remains under investigation.
