Henry died at the accident scene and the male pedestrian was taken to the hospital in critical condition

Fresno, CA. – 31-year-old Shaylee Henry has been identified as the woman who died after being struck by a car on Friday night in Fresno.
The fatal collision happened around 9 p.m. on Santa Ana Avenue near Fashion Fair Mall, according to the Fresno Police Department.
Police reportedly attempted to pull over a car near Gettysburg Avenue and First Street but the driver failed to yield and sped off into a residential area where it struck a man and a woman.
The vehicle sped off before it crashed into a pole near Thesta and Santa Ana.
Henry died at the accident scene.
The male pedestrian was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the car fled the scene and was yet to be located.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
