Sherri Lee Injured in Crash on Highway 108 in Sonora

, Calif. – Sherri Lee, 70, of Sonora, was injured in a crash that happened on Tuesday afternoon in Sonora, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The wreck happened at about noon on December 26 on Highway 108 just west of Hess Avenue.

A Ford Explorer, a Ford 150, and a Ford Expedition were involved in the crash.

Joshua Engle, 23, of , who was driving the Ford Explorer, was flown to a Modesto hospital with major injuries.

Lee, who drove the Expedition, had minor to moderate injuries and was taken Adventist Health Sonora.

The third driver, Michael Kindberg, 61, of Hilmar, was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

A section of the highway was shut down as authorities worked to clear the scene.

The incident is under investigation.
