Skateboarder Injured in North Park Crash on Wightman Street

San Diego, California (July 9, 2022) – A skateboarder, 39 years, suffered brain bleeding and a skull fracture after colliding with a vehicle on Friday night in North Park, San Diego, according to a local news source.
The collision happened at about 10:30 p.m. on July 8, in the 2500 block of Wightman Street.
Per the report, the 39-year-old skateboarder was traveling westbound and trying to cross the street when he crashed into the passenger's side of a vehicle.
First responders rushed the skateboarder to the hospital to treat non-life-threatening injuries. The victim injured his skull and suffered a brain bleed following the crash.
The 46-year-old woman operating the vehicle was not injured in the accident.
