Driver Seriously Injured in Sloughouse Crash on Jackson Road (Highway 16) at Grant Line Road
Sacramento County, California (February 8, 2022) – A driver sustained serious following a car crash that happened Tuesday afternoon in Sloughouse, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The major injury collision occurred at around 12:50 p.m. on Jackson Road (Highway 16) at Grant Line Road. Jackson Road is also known as Highway 16.
According to the CHP, a Ford F-150 pickup truck collided with another pickup truck towing an empty utility trailer. After the impact, the second pickup truck veered off the roadway and went down an embankment.

The driver of the Ford pickup truck was taken to a hospital with major injuries. Their current condition was not immediately available.
Animal Control responded to the scene and took a dog from the Ford pickup truck.
All lanes of the intersection were blocked due to the crash. Both vehicles were towed away from the crash site.
The crash remains under investigation.
