Man Hospitalized after Snelling Accident on Snelling Road near Youd Road
Snelling, California (October 3, 2021) – A male party was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning in Snelling, Merced County.
The major injury crash took place on Snelling Road just south of the Youd Road intersection at approximately 2:09 a.m.
According to the California Highway Patrol report, the male party was repairing his vehicle's battery on the side of Snelling Road when another vehicle approached and clipped him.
Major Injury Snelling Accident
Following the crash, the victim suffered moderate injuries. An air ambulance was dispatched to the scene, and the patient was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the crash resulted in the closure of the intersection for an unknown time.
The accident is currently being investigated.
