The CHP said a freightliner towing a trailer collided with a Toyota Highlander in the area on Highway 193 near Cirle Drive
El Dorado County, CA.- The man who was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon in El Dorado County has been identified as Stefan Key, 79, of Hidden Valley Lake.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck took place at about 1:40 p.m. July 25.
The CHP said a freightliner towing a trailer collided with a Toyota Highlander in the area.
Key, who was the driver of the Toyota, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
His passenger, a 4-year-old, was flown to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento with major injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash is under investigation.
