Steven Harvey ID'd as Victim of Fatal Seal Beach Crash on 405 Freeway

Seal Beach, California (February 21, 2022) – One of the victims of a double-fatality collision that took place in Seal Beach early Sunday morning has been identified as Steven Harvey, 30, of Midway City, according to the coroner's office.
Authorities responded to the scene of the multi-car crash at around 1:30 a.m. February 20, on the San Diego (405) Freeway, just north of the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol said a 2016 Honda Civic and a 2012 Honda Civic were among several vehicles involved in the collision.
The vehicles collided on the southbound lanes of the freeway after one of the drivers drove the wrong way.
Steven Harvey Killed in Seal Beach Crash on 405 Freeway
Harvey was a passenger in the 2012 Honda and died in the collision.
The driver of the 2016 Honda, Humberto Arteaga Jr. III, 21, of La Puente, was also killed in the crash.
The driver of the 2012 Honda, a 28-year-old Rancho Palos Verdes resident, sustained major injuries in the crash and was taken to Long Beach Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Medics evaluated two other parties at the scene but both declined to be taken to hospital.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
