One Seriously Injured in Stockton Truck Accident on Interstate 5 near Monte Diablo Avenue Off-Ramp
Stockton, California (February 11, 2022) – At least one person was seriously injured early Thursday morning in a collision between a big rig and a car in Stockton, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Just after 12:34 a.m. on February 10, emergency personnel responded to the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway near the Monte Diablo Avenue exit.
A small sedan collided with a semi-truck in the northbound lane of the interstate, CHP said.
Stockton Collision on I-5 Sends 1 to Hospital
At least one person was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by firefighters. The patient was then taken to a hospital with major injuries. The name of the victim and their current condition were not available.
The crash remains under investigation.
