At Least 1 Killed in Stockton Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Benjamin Holt Drive Off-Ramp
Stockton, California (January 1, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a deadly car accident that happened early Saturday morning on a freeway in Stockton.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident occurred at around 2:25 a.m. on northbound 5 Freeway, just south of the Benjamin Holt Drive off-ramp.
According to the report, three vehicles were involved in the collision, including one that overturned onto its roof.
The report did not mention the cause and manner of the collision.
At least one person was killed in the collision.
All three vehicles were towed away with major front-end damage.
CHP is investigating the wreck.
