Modesto, Calif. – A Stockton man was critically injured following a suspected drunk driving accident near a Modesto intersection Tuesday night.

Modesto Fire Department crews responded to the scene and found the driver of the Ford pinned in. The Stockton man had to be extricated and was transported to the hospital in critical condition. He was the sole occupant of the Ford.
The woman operating the Kia was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The woman is suspected of driving under the influence at the time of the incident.
