Police Officer Among 2 Injured in Suisun City Crash on Highway 12 and Emperor Drive
Suisun City, California (January 4, 2021) – A police officer was among two people who were injured in a crash that happened on Monday evening in Suisun City.
According to authorities, the incident happened at about 9 p.m. January 3, near Highway 12 and Emperor Drive.
The officer had responded to an initial suspected DUI accident in the area and as the officer was inside thier patrol car, they were struck by another motorist.

The patrol vehicle had its emergency lights flashing at the time of the accident.
The officer was taken to hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The driver who struck the patrol car was treated at the scene and released.
Authorities arrested the driver involved in the initial suspected DUI crash.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
