Injuries Reported in Sunnyvale Crash on Highway 237 near Mathilda Avenue
Sunnyvale, California (April 20, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision in Sunnyvale on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck happened at around 12:11 p.m. April 19.
It's unclear what caused the chain-reaction collision on the westbound lanes of Highway 237 near Mathilda Avenue.
A silver 2019 Mazda CX5 SUV, a silver 4-door Nissan Versa, and a black Honda sedan were involved in the incident.

Parties sustained minor to moderate injuries and were attended to by the medics.
The Honda sustained major front-end damage, the Nissan had front and rear damage, while the Mazda sustained rear-end damage.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
