1 Hospitalized after Sunol Multi-Car Crash on Interstate 680 near Andrade Road Off-Ramp
Sunol, California (April 12, 2022) – One person was sent to the hospital with minor injuries after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday evening in Sunol, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident took place at around 6:11 p.m. on northbound Interstate 680, just south of the Andrade Road off-ramp.
Seven vehicles, including a Tesla Model 3, were involved in the crash. The Tesla acquired a broken front axle.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the motorists.
The paramedics evaluated the motorists at the scene for minor injuries and transported one person to the hospital with a head injury.
All northbound lanes of the freeway near the crash scene remained closed for an unknown period.
