Two Hospitalized after Chula Vista Crash at Park Way and Fifth Avenue
Chula Vista, California (January 24, 2022) – Two people were sent to a hospital Friday morning following an alleged DUI crash in Chula Vista, according to a local news source.
The collision occurred at around 10:44 a.m. on January 21 at the intersection of Park Way and Fifth Avenue.
As per the local news report, a Ford was heading eastbound on Park Way when it pulled out into the path of an Infiniti that was traveling southbound on Fifth Avenue.
Both vehicles ultimately collided.

Two occupants of the Infiniti sustained minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital. The names of the patients and their conditions were not immediately available.
Police smelled marijuana coming from the Ford. The Ford driver was eventually arrested and booked into jail.
The intersection of Park Way and Fifth Avenue was blocked during the investigation.
