Police say Kimberlin was traveling southbound on Highway 395 when she attempted to turn left onto Kennewick Avenue and collided with a northbound car at the intersection.
Kennewick, Wash.– A Kennewick woman was involved in a two-car traffic collision at an intersection in Kennewick at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday, December. 14, 2023 is dead.
According to the Washington State Patrol, 82-year-old Suzanne Kimberlin succumbed to her injuries in the hospital on Dec. 23, 2023.
Police say Kimberlin was traveling southbound on Highway 395 when she attempted to turn left onto Kennewick Avenue and collided with a northbound car at the intersection.
It was not immediately clear if the second driver, a 51-year-old Kennewick man, was injured in the crash.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Kimberlin failed to yield the right-of-way to oncoming northbound traffic leading to the crash.
