Tapaita Stovall Identified as Woman Killed in San Mateo DUI Accident at Santa Inez Avenue and Humboldt Street
San Mateo, California (September 29, 2021) – Tapaita Stovall, 40, of San Mateo, has been identified as the woman who was killed in a suspected DUI accident on Sunday evening in San Mateo, authorities said.
According to San Mateo police, the accident happened at about 5:02 p.m. on September 26, at E. Santa Inez Avenue and N. Humboldt Street.
A vehicle, driven by Tuuika Salt, 24, of San Mateo, reportedly collided with two other vehicles on the roadway in unclear circumstances.

Sadly, Stovall, who was a passenger in Salt's vehicle, was injured in the accident and was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Salt was arrested and booked into the county's Maple Street jail on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and DUI causing great bodily injury.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
