21-Year-Old TaQuan Randall ID'd as Driver Killed in Sacramento Car Crash at Power Inn and Fruitridge Roads
Sacramento, California (October 22, 2021) – The Sacramento County Coroner's Bureau has identified the driver who died Wednesday morning following a three-vehicle collision in Sacramento as TaQuan Larel Randall, 21, of Sacramento
The deadly crash occurred at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 20, in the area of Power Inn Road and Fruitridge Road, the Sacramento police reported.
According to the police, Randall was driving home when his sedan collided with a tow truck at the intersection.
A third vehicle became involved in the collision.
Sacramento Man Killed in Power Inn Road Collision
Randall was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the sedan sustained unspecified injuries while the driver of the tow truck suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Both were transported to a hospital for treatment.
The collision prompted the police to close the roadway. Motorists were being asked to use alternate routes.
No further details regarding the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
