The MCSO said Raymond Sampaga, 47, was driving west on Hunt Highway when he drifted across the centerline and collided head-on with an oncoming SUV driven by Stithem

Chandler, Ariz. – Taylor Stithem, 33, has been identified as one of the two people killed in head-on collision in Chandler on Thursday night, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
The crash took place on Hunt Highway and McQueen Road at about 10:15 p.m. January 18.
The MCSO said Raymond Sampaga, 47, was driving west on Hunt Highway when he drifted across the centerline and collided head-on with an oncoming SUV driven by Stithem.
Stithem and a passenger in his vehicle, Sara Papila, 36, were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
Sampaga was taken to a hospital with critical injuries.
Authorities said Sampaga is believed to have experienced a medical episode prior to the accident.
The incident is under investigation.
