Man Seriously Injured in Tecopa Motorcycle Accident at Old Spanish Trail Highway and Furnace Creek Road
Inyo County, California (October 8, 2021) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a traffic collision that happened Thursday evening at an intersection in Tecopa, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
Just after 6:25 p.m. Thursday, October 7, authorities responded to the area of Old Spanish Trail Highway and Furnace Creek Road, to investigate the report of a crash involving two motorcycle riders.
As per the CHP report, a man was riding his Yamaha Royal Star in the area when, for unknown reasons, he collided with another motorcyclist at the intersection.
Major Injury Tecopa Motorcycle Accident
The driver of the Yamaha sustained major injuries, including abrasions to their shoulders. He was treated at the scene by responding paramedics before taking him to a local hospital for treatment.
No other details about the collision were immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
