Imperial County, CA.- A teenager was injured in a traffic crash that happened in Imperial County early Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Worthington Road near SR 111 at around 1:23 a.m. July 17.
According to the report, a driver traveling east on Worthington Road hit a 15-year-old boy on foot in the area.
The teenager was flown to Desert Regional Medical Center with major injuries.
The driver left the scene after the accident.
