Teenager Hurt in San Diego Crash on Dwight Street and Fairmount Avenue

, CA.- A teenager was injured in a bicycle collision in the Fairmount Village neighborhood of San Diego on Saturday afternoon, according to the San Diego Police Department.

The incident took place on Dwight Street and Fairmount Avenue at around 4:20 p.m. July 19.

According to police, a 17-year-old boy was riding a bicycle down Fairmount Avenue when he entered the intersection and collided with a vehicle making a right turn from Dwight Street.

The teenager was transported to a hospital with injuries to his left ankle and a fractured left femur.

The driver, a 20-year-old man, stayed at the scene and was not suspected of impairment.

The San Diego Police Department is conducting an investigation into the collision.
