Teen Killed, 4 Hurt in Cathedral City Crash on 33rd Avenue and Cathedral Canyon Drive

, CA – One person was killed and four others hurt in a crash that took place in Cathedral City on Monday night, according to the Cathedral City Police Department.

The wreck occurred at 9:07 p.m. on April 8, on 33rd Avenue and Cathedral Canyon Drive.

According to the report, a 19-year-old was speeding in the area with four passengers in the vehicle when the vehicle collided with a second car.

The occupants of the first vehicle were rushed to a hospital with major injuries and the driver died at the hospital.

The driver of the second car was unhurt but a passenger in the car had minor injuries.

The passengers in the first car were only identified as two women aged 20 and 21, and two juveniles.

Police are working to determine the cause of the collision.
