
Tulare, CA. – Two men were killed following a two-vehicle crash including a stolen vehicle early Saturday morning in Tulare.
According to the Tulare Police Department, the accident happened a while before 4:30 a.m. on June 15, at Bardsley Avenue and O Street.
Police said a 2005 Nissan Sentra and a 2015 Hyundai crashed. The impact of the collision sent the Nissan into the drive-thru of a Burger King restaurant.
Two men were inside the Nissan. The Nissan driver, a 35-year-old Tulare man was declared dead at the crash site. A 43-year-old Tulare man riding as a passenger died at the hospital.
Initial investigations revealed the Hyundai was stolen by three boys in the vehicle.
The Hyundai driver, 17-year-old Goshen resident, was arrested and booked into juvenile hall for DUI.
The Hyundai passengers' 18-year-old Emanuel Montoya of Goshen and 18-year-old Jose Alfredo Encizo of Tulare were also detained and charged with possession of a stolen car.
