, California (September 23, 2021) – A Thousand Oaks crash involving a silver Acura RDX and a second vehicle Tuesday morning sent one person to the hospital.

The minor injury collision took place on Highway 101 near Road just before 8:00 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish how the accident occurred on the southbound side of the highway.

One person sustained minor injuries following the collision. The unidentified victim received first aid treatment from paramedics before being taken to the Los Robles Regional Medical Center for further medical aid.

The crash resulted in the closure of the southbound lanes of Highway 101 near Moorpark for more than half an hour as investigation and clean-up took place.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
