Tiffany Haynes Killed in Long Beach Accident on 710 Freeway

, California (April 18, 2022) – Tiffany Haynes, 32, of , was killed in a crash involving a suspected DUI driver in Long Beach early Monday morning, according to the coroner's office.

The collision occurred at around 1 a.m. on the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway at the northbound (405) Freeway.

Haynes was reportedly driving a 2013 Toyota sedan when she stopped on the freeway in the No. 2 lane, for unknown reasons.

Shortly after, the Toyota was rear-ended by a 2002 Chevrolet driven by Alfonzo Star, 60, of Lakeview Terrace.

A big rig then stopped on the right shoulder and partially in the No. 3 northbound lane.

The big rig and the Toyota were then struck from the back by a 2018 Ford.

Haynes was killed in the collision.

Star was arrested on suspicion of DUI following the accident.

The CHP is investigating the crash.
