One Person Seriously Injured in Tipton Crash on Road 96 near Avenue 152
Tipton, California (January 2, 2022) – One person sustained serious injuries following a traffic collision that happened early Friday morning in Tipton, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash, which involved two vehicles, was reported just after 3:00 a.m. Friday, December 31, on Road 96, just north of Avenue 152.
According to the CHP, a big truck collided with a red Nissan Versa on Road 96, just north of the intersection with Avenue 152.
Major Injury Traffic Collision in Tipton
Authorities said one patient, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was transported to the Kaweah Health Medical Center with major injuries.
The intersection of Road 96 and Avenue 152 was closed following the crash, which remains under investigation.
