San Diego, CA – The San Diego Medical Examiner's Office has identified a passenger killed in a collision late June on Broadway in San Diego as Tonia Renee Silva, 36, of La Mesa.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on July 29 on Broadway near Lemon Grove Avenue.
Reportedly, an SUV and a pickup truck were involved in the accident. However, the manner in which they collided was not immediately determined.
The SUV passenger, Silva, was rushed to Scripps Mercy Hospital and died the same day at around 8:52 p.m.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation is underway.
