Tony Leon Jr. ID'd as Motorcyclist Killed in Traffic Crash on 90th Street West at Avenue F-4 in Lancaster

Lancaster, California (August 25, 2021) – The motorcyclist who was killed Tuesday afternoon in a traffic collision in the Lancaster area has been identified as Tony Jesus Leon Jr., 31, of Lancaster.
The California Highway Patrol said the deadly crash happened at about 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, on 90th Street West at Avenue F-4.
According to the CHP, Leon was riding his 2014 Suzuki GSX-R southbound on 90th Street West when he drifted into the northbound lane to pass another vehicle on the left.
Leon then reentered the southbound lane of 90th Street West at Avenue F-4 and slammed into the right side of a 2020 Chevrolet, which had just made a left turn from northbound 90th Street West onto Avenue F-4.

Leon died at the scene.
The driver of the Chevrolet, a 68-year-old Encino man, was uninjured while his two passengers, a 55-year-old woman and a 61-year-old man, both from Van Nuys, were transported to Antelope Valley Hospital with minor injuries.
Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the crash
