1 Killed in Torrance Crash on 405 Freeway near Vermont Avenue
Torrance, California (January 5, 2022) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Torrance on Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly collision happened just before 4:30 a.m. on the 405 Freeway near Vermont Avenue.
According to the CHP report, multiple vehicles collided on the freeway, and a pedestrian was also hit.

CHP said one person died in the accident.
The identity of the deceased victim was not immediately released.
The roadway was closed for some time as crews worked at the scene.
