Torrance Accident on Vermont Avenue near West 223rd Street Injures Bicyclist
Torrance, California (October 14, 2021) – A bicyclist was hurt in a collision with a vehicle at an intersection in Torrance Thursday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
At around 9:01 a.m., on October 14, the CHP received a crash report involving a bicycle and a Chevrolet SUV at Vermont Avenue and West 223rd Street.
As per the dispatch, the cyclist was hit by a Chevrolet SUV at the Torrance intersection for undetermined reasons.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived at the scene shortly after the crash and attended to the injured rider.
Official shut down the highway to about 11:15 a.m. as they investigated and cleared the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
