Two vehicles collided in the westbound lanes near Civic Center Drive

Vista, Calif. – Minor injuries were sustained in a traffic collision that happened Thursday evening on a highway in Vista, the California Highway Patrol said.
At around 7:42 p.m., CHP officers received reports of a collision around 7:42 p.m. on westbound Highway 78 near Civic Center Drive.
A Toyota Corolla and another car were involved in the accident.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and offered medical aid to at least one person who sustained minor injuries.
Officers are investigating the cause of the crash.
