Yesler Terrace, WA – Two elderly women were killed in an accident that occurred Tuesday morning in Yesler Terrace.
According to Seattle Police Department, the incident was reported at around 10:30 a.m. on June 10 in the 1005 block of Terrace Street near Harborview Medical Center.
Reports revealed that a shuttle bus accidentally rolled into a smoking shelter inside a gated parking lot of the midrise Hilltop House retirement apartment complex where it struck two women.
Both women whose names were not immediately disclosed were pronounced dead at the scene. A third woman escaped from being injured.
A white, shuttle-type bus branded Hilltop House was at rest with small dents on the back and debris scattered nearby.
