Desert Hot Springs, CA. – Two people were hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Wednesday morning near an intersection in Desert Hot Springs.
Cal Fire said the accident was reported around 10:15 a.m. on Palm Drive and 20th Avenue.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision.
Firefighters responded to the scene and found a person trapped in the wreckage.
The firefighters extricated the victim.
One person with serious injuries and another with moderate injuries were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Investigators closed 20th Avenue between Varner Road and Dillon Road for several hours following the crash.
