A driver reportedly failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and slammed into a school bus carrying more than a dozen students

South Lake Tahoe, CA – A student was among two people injured when a vehicle collided with a school bus in South Lake Tahoe on Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at Sacramento and Merced Avenues at about 8 a.m.
A driver reportedly failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and slammed into a school bus carrying more than a dozen students.
One student on the bus and one person in the other vehicle were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
No further details were released.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
