, Ariz. – Two police officers were among three people injured in a two-vehicle collision in central Phoenix early Saturday morning.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, the accident took place on I-17 and Indian School Road at about 1:15 a.m. March 2.

The police vehicle, occupied by two officers, reportedly collided with another vehicle in the area under unclear circumstances.

Both officers sustained minor injuries and were transported to a hospital.

The other driver was also hospitalized with minor injuries. Police said the driver was suspected of DUI.

The accident is under investigation.
