The big rigs collided early Thursday morning near County Road 102

Woodland, Calif. – One person was hurt when two big rigs collided early Wednesday morning on 5 Freeway in Woodland, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck happened around 12:18 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the freeway near County Road 102.
Two semi-trucks collided for an unknown reason.
One big rig stopped blocking the No. 2 lane with an occupant trapped inside.
Yolo County firefighters responded to the scene and transported one person to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Authorities closed the southbound I-5 exit to County Road 102 during the investigation.
