1 Hospitalized after Yuba City Car Crash on Highway 99 near Smith Road

Yuba City, California (September 24, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a two-vehicle collision in Yuba City on Friday morning.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened on Highway 99 near Smith Road at about 7:49 a.m.
A gray Honda Civic and a second vehicle of unknown make and model were involved in the collision. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was not immediately established.
The CHP said one person was hurt in the collision and was transported to Rideout Memorial Hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
