2 Women Injured, Female Arrested after Panorama City Crash on West Chase Street

Panorama, California (June 13, 2022) – Two women in civilian vehicles were hospitalized after a police pursuit ended in a crash early Sunday morning in Panorama.

The Police Department reported that the accident happened on June 12, on the 14500 block of West Chase Street.

According to authorities, a woman stole an ambulance moment after it arrived at a Sherman Oaks hospital at around 2:10 a.m.

The police then tracked the ambulance and pursued it shortly before it slammed an SUV, pickup , and pole in Panorama City.

Authorities said two women in the two cars were rushed to the hospital to treat non-life-threatening wounds.

Police later arrested the female driver and booked her into the Nuys Jail.

Authorities said that there was no firefighter or police hurt in the collision.

Additional information concerning the collision was not released.

An investigation is underway.
