2 Dead, 1 Critically Injured in Victorville Car Crash on 15 Freeway near Bear Valley Road
Victorville, California (September 12, 2022) – Two people were killed, and another was airlifted with critical injuries after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Monday morning in Victorville, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash involved two big rigs, a white van and a work truck.
CHP said the vehicles collided at around 4:56 a.m. on southbound 15 Freeway between Bear Valley Road and Main Street.
The vehicles collided for unknown reasons, blocking all southbound lanes.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced two people dead.
A third male victim was trapped in the wreckage. The firefighters used tools to extricate the victim and requested an air ambulance to transport him to the hospital. A Mercy Air helicopter responded and airlifted the patient to Antelope Valley Hospital with critical injuries.
Southbound 15 Freeway at Bear Valley Road remained closed for hours, causing traffic to back up for miles. All lanes were reopened at about 10:30 a.m.
Victorville CHP station is investigating the accident.

Victorville, California (September 12, 2022) – One person died, and at least one other was injured in a semi-truck crash that happened Monday morning in Victorville, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred just before 5 a.m. on southbound 15 Freeway near Bear Valley Road.
As per the report, a Perdue Meat Company semi-truck hauling meat collided with another vehicle under unclear circumstances. A fuel semi-truck may also have been involved in the accident.
One person was killed in the crash, and at least one other sustained unspecified injuries.
Two vehicles, including the meat company semi-truck, were towed away from the scene.
No other details were given, but an investigation is ongoing.
